Sweet Lolita Carousel Horse Necklace and Hair Clips

Hello everyone! Today I want to share a new item in my shop. Recently I bought a mold that looks like a carousel horse. The finished pieces are great for sweet lolita and fairy kei fashion. The mold has many small parts that are a bit tedious to paint, but the end result is worth it. The pieces turn out so cute~

On several of these horses, I used pearl powders to make the mane and body of them really shine! It adds a very unique sparkle. I also used glass pearl beads are part of the necklace chain to match.

These hair clips, like all my other hair clips, have a very strong alligator clip secured to the back. This makes them perfect for hair both thin and thick. Here's a mini tip, if you are ever having a hard time getting your hair clips to stay in place, remove the clip, spray a little bit of hair spray on the area you want to clip to go, and then put the clip back in. Make sure you do not directly spray the resin piece! The hair spray helps work like glue to hold the clip in place.

These necklaces and hair clips can be customized to match your coord! All colors can be changed to your liking. If you are interested, please contact me on Etsy

Pastel Resin Deco Cases

I now have pastel colored cases! These are so fun to work with when doing resin cases. My first two cases are matching creepy cute iPhone 5/5s cases. I thought matching cases would be a cute idea for best friends to get.

And here are some up close pictures of the cases.

I just had more pastel colored cases for tons of different devices come in, so if you are interested in your own custom case contact me on Etsy!

Glow in the Dark Bat and Ghost Cabochons

While I was out shopping the other day I saw these cute bat and ghost ice cube molds. As soon as I saw theme I knew they were a perfect size for cabochons.

After the pieces have cured a face needs to be painted on, then they are good to go. I have some stored away in my deco supplies, but they may make some cute phone charms or small necklaces.
And the best part?

I made them so they glow in the dark! I have had glow in the dark powder for resin stored away in my stash, but I keep forgetting to use it. I wish I would have found it again sooner, because it would have been awesome for some Halloween themed cases.

Cross Stitch WIP Wednesday 10/15/2014

This week I am working on an adorable spring/summer sampler. The pattern is from The World of Cross Stitching and was featured in issue 219. Right now I am almost done with the first motif, and I still have several to go.

Here is the sample picture of what the finished is supposed to look like.

It is so cute! I might go frame browsing soon. Sometimes seeing that inspires me to want to work on the project even more.

Resin Decoden Phone Cases

New to Sammy's Jewels is resin decoden cases! These are perfect who like the cutesy look of deco cases, but don't want something too bulky. Making these takes precision and patience to ensure the resin does not spill all over the case. It is a versatile way of making cases because you can easily color the resin, mix in any type of glitter, and use almost any type of cabochons.

Which is your favorite? I love the painted donut pumpkins, but I have a pretty unsteady hand, so I don't think those are for me. I think I want to try the milkjug ghosts!
